Who Is This Course For?
SpotCheck Academy training does not teach medical diagnosis. It focuses on risk recognition, lesion awareness, and safe escalation pathways to support practitioners in making safer treatment decisions.
SpotCheck Academy courses are designed for practitioners who assess, treat, or work on the skin, and who want to practise safely, confidently, and within their professional scope.
This training is suitable for:
- Aesthetic practitioners performing advanced skin procedures
- Practitioners providing electrocautery / electrosurgery / advanced electrolysis
- Practitioners offering cryotherapy for skin lesions
- Practitioners using laser and IPL on the skin
- Chiropodists / Podiatrists with an interest in skin and nail lesions
- Skin therapists and advanced beauty therapists working with medical or cosmetic-grade devices
Whether you work in aesthetics, podiatry, lasers or advanced skin therapy, this course helps you recognise when a lesion may be unsafe to treat, when to pause and refer, and how to protect both your client and your professional registration.
